Felt QX60, opinions and other suggestions?

So I will be moving flat in a month to somewhere I will be best cycling to work, it's a short 2.5 mile trip over very quiet roads. I was looking at getting a Felt QX60 (http://www.globalbike.co.uk/products/Fe ... -2012.html) as it seems pretty decent, but is it?? I've found a good offer on one that I'm tempted by it.
As the journey isn't going to be very far and is mostly flat will anything do?
I used to have a Specialized Hardrock 2011 disk, until it was pinched, which was ok, but I don't think I need suspension or to spend that much cash and it used to get to my back after a while.
I'm 6'5" but my back is bad so I don't want a big bike as I will be leaning over too much - no one ever says that bigger bikes get longer as well as taller!
Is there anything else I should look at instead?
