My Cervelo R5 2012 frameset is on its way to me and I want to check whats tools I need. I want to run a DA chainset so have purchased the rotor shimano adapter which looks like a replacement press-fit BB to accommodate the decrease in spindle and also the increase in width of the BB shell over a standard shimano fit.

I think the frame will arrive with a press-fit BB installed therefore can I assume that I can just use any BB30 standard BB extraction tool and a BB30 compatible press (e.g. headset press) to install the new BB?

PS......way to many BB standards...what the hell is wrong with threaded cups!
