Just wondering whether anyone has used these - I'm after a new all-rounder.

And, if so, just how narrow do the 2.2's come up? And any good on the front?

Cheers

I'm watching this post as I'm considering them myself. I've been a fan of Rubber queens for the past 18months and love them but they wont fit the new bike as there HUGE. Currently running mountain kings version 1 and thought they were brilliant in the past couple of months, but found them scarely skittish last week in the sloppy mud.

So currently running the rubber queen up front and mountain king on rear and after this afternoons rain im fairly happy.

I have the Black Chili version and I love them. Much better than the high rollers I had before. They fill me with confidence when riding. Not too good in the mud though, clog easily and don't shed it too well. I haven't actually measured them, but I would say they are true to size or maybe a little larger.

I remember having a fair few punctures in mine (Basic versions) so swapped them for some schwalbe puncture resistance tyres.

Mine are a tough as nails. They do have the 'protection' side walls.
