Question on bike fit

Riding a 54cm Boardman. Bike nearly nicely set up and it's got a 90mm ARX 3T stem. However, when on the drops I feel like I'm reaching for them. Tried different variations - seat forward more, etc but now am considering swapping to a 80/70mm stem.

Any help gratefully received before I take the stem off and put it up for sale.
