I have got one with the OS maps, I find the mapping to be ok for roads and usless for off road.
If I was buying again I would get the European full road map, but I do cycle in France etc.
TBH you can manage without mapps if you plot a route on your computer. You get a line to follow, no turn by turn instructions though.Cannondales

UK City navigator is for the road only, I use it all the time, it's very good and cheap. Not much point in having an 800 with no maps.Smarter than the average bear.0

Do you mean the citymaps are useless for off road, so you bought the OS? Can't see why the OS would be useles, since that's why hillwalkers buy GPS with OS maps surely?0 -

The bundled OS mapping is 1:50 and I find it does not have a very good coverage of footpaths, I think if you want good offroad navigation you need 1:25 OS mappingCannondales
