Rear wheel fitting

Building up a Dedacciai Nerissimo (my first build). Just put the rear wheel in (weight on the seat post to push frame into the drop outs fullly) and it does not seem straight. Should it not line up perfectly with the hole for the rear break ?
Seems straighter lower down by the chain stays but still not perfect. Chorus 11 speed cassette on wheel if that makes any difference.

have you removed the Qr and looked at the axle?

Had a look at the axle. It seems fine. By the chain stays it seems central its just up where the brake bolt hole is it seems out by a few mm. Its not much though and it is difficult to measure accurately. It's a monocoque frame so I think it shouldn't be bent. Wouldn't that mean there was a problem with the mold.
I think it's looking straighter than when I first posted.

Only if the frame is correct and the wheel is dished perfectly - have you tried fitting the wheel both ways (i.e. cassette on the drive side and then flipped around so cassette is on non-drive side)?

Doing that will tell you if its frame or wheel dish that's out. If its frame both ways the rim of the wheel will be off to the same direction relative to the frame - if its wheel dish that's the problem then off direction will always be the same relative to the hub.

If its a bit of both - good luck :shock:
Defo worth checking before doing anything more serious.
