I'm currently running a 100mm fork on a Scott Scale 40 and I'm thinking of fitting it with a longer travel fork. My question is, what would be the max travel i could put on the frame without it compromising the ride quality

80-100mm. That is the design of the bike, any more would likely void your warranty.0

thanks, but that didn't answer my question. i built the bike from scratch anyway so warranties arn't an issue0

100mm, or a crown to axle of about 480-490mm.0
