I am looking to replace the crap suspension forks on my 12 year olds bike with some rigid ones.

I bought a pair to do exactly what you are thinking.
They are quite awesome forks tbh, especially for the price.
My youngest (13) found them to be a lot easier to ride with on and off road.
She has now progressed up to a decent front suss bike so they are not doing anything, but i'd reccomend them no problem.0 -
