Saddle shifting

I have a Selle Bassano saddle fitted to a Scott seatpost and for the last few rides after about 10miles the saddle keeps shifting backwards by about and inch. I have done the damn thing up really tight which must be borderline breaking the bolt but still it keeps moving, my Scott saddle never did this, any suggestions other than put the Scott one back on

single or twin bolt seatpost?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Single, I guess a twin would be better?0

Is the bolt coming loose or the saddle moving with it tight? Tried loctite?
Is it possible the bolt is bottoming out on something and not actually clamping the saddle rails?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

The saddle is moving with it tight, it takes as much effort for me to undo as it did to do up.
I hadn't checked for bottoming out, you could be right as the seatpost was fine with my other saddle, I'll check for that in the morning.0 -
Well that was an easy fix thanks to your suggestion, it was indeed the bolt bottoming out on the saddle base, chopped a few threads off and all sorted. Many thanks.0

Glad to be of service......it's often easier when you're not to close to the problem!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Very true, it's that lateral thinking thing.0
