so im thinking of buying a new F/S and i have about 1500 top budget, looking to get the best bike with the best spec for the money,i currently ride a RR 9.1.
i have been looking at the giant trance and anthem on pauls cycles but would like a wee bit more travel on the forks.
my wee dilema is do i buy the step up from my RR9.1

I know the RR aren't everyones cup of tea but my 9.1 has been a great bike but seeing the giants up close look pretty good bikes.
also was down at glentress last week and the hire bikes on sale were damn nice and good price, would these bikes come with some sort of guarantee with them being ex-hires...
thanks craig

I'd upgrade what you have. Stick a RS Revelation on there, maybe new wheels and you're laughing.0

Yep, 1 1/8th. One of these:

You can space the revs down if needed, but 140mm should be ok (though you might want to check the warranty).0 -
