There is a (part) solution to this (for us at least).

Buy Exteondo, Sidi, Sportful, Kask, Orbea etc. etc.

Didn't realise I was already taking part in the 'boycott' with my three Orbeas, three pairs of Sidi shoes, Exteondo gear and not a bit of Nike, Trek or Oakley...

Actually, I did buy the Orbeas because they are made in a workers cooperative. Not as much as before I agree, but still putting something back. Same with Exteondo, but very hard to get now and I now buy 'Scottish' with Endura.

Found it quite funny in what is left of JJB Sports today with the Livestrong stuff thrown in a corner with no interest from anyone in there.

If we searched through all of the affidavits, would we find one of the other 11 riders expressing doubts about doping and being told by LA or JB to 'just do it' ?

Fair point. They were only living up to their sponsor's slogan...

Well, Nike have dropped Lance. It's just other ethical reasons that you should boycott Nike for now...

    Yes

But you can only wear a livestrong product or wristband if you are being like all ironic.

Of course the fact that there is probably hundreds of threads like this on hundreds of forums around the net probably had nothing to do with it, the board were just thinking about it for a while

    Consumer pressure in action

No not you, just a general rant. I have a dim view of 'protesters' who think are somehow morally superior and make sure a big show of it. I guess it comes from growing up three miles from Greenham Common.

You're not a proper Taff then? I'm shocked.

What school did you go to?

A posh one (on a scholarship) - Bradfield College
Other people in my village went to the Kennet in Thatcham.

A friend of mine went to Bradfield.

You were obviously north east of Greenham. My parents lived (and still live) 4 miles west of there.
