Hello
I'm a cycling newbie looking to spend £800 on a bike. I've kind of settled on the Corratec Dolomiti 105, although if anyone has a better suggestions I'd love to hear it.
I've found two different bikes for the same price the 2011 Road Bike http://www.damianharriscycles.co.uk/prod/rac_0007_co/Corratec/Dolomiti-105-White-Red-2011
and then the 2012 Compact here http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=75532
I'm not 100% sure on what differences I'm going to see between the two of them. Will the road bike make for a more comfortable ride, but come with slightly out of date components?
Any help would be much appreciated
Cheers!

It seems a very good price. Corratec is a very reputable brand in Germany... give it a couple of years and it will be mainstream in the UK tooleft the forum March 20230
