Worth upgrading SLX shifter to XT?

As per the title.

Thinking of getting rid of the SLX shifters and maybe front deraileur so bike is completely XT...is it worth the effort?

Not with the front mech, but the shifters feel better ie lighter action, less throw.

yup, if was mine i would, having back to backed slx and XT (zesty Vs my bike) i'd certainly choose XT every time,
If you can sneek on an XTR front mech then do so, XT shifters and XTR mechs are a Great combo!!

I have XT from a couple of years ago and I think current SLX feels better
