29.4 seatpost in a 31.6 hole

I have a 29.4mm seat post that I like but my new bike has a 31.6mm hole
and I cannot seem to find a shim that will fit this conversion. Do any of you guys have a good way around this problem

    Find any aluminium shim with a nominal thickness of 1.0-1.2mm and - USE do a 27.2-29.4 - you'll need to cut-off the lip to get it to curl around.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
