Winter Build

Hi, I've put this in the beginners section because I think it could be useful.

I'm in need of a winter bike the drivetrain is shot. The brake bolt sheared off the other day too. it is a Felt F3 re-build with old Xenon tripple campag componments. I have a Ridley Crossbow that's been on the wall for 2 years which has shimano Ultegra on it. This too was a non-standard set up. I'm not sure which to build up. Transfer the Shimano kit to the Felt or use the Ridley. the F4 fits beautifully.

Any advice would be great. to put the Shim on the carbon Felt or use the alu Ridley which has eyelets etc..

    Eyelets = proper mudguards = proper winter bike

    I have fitted crud mudguards onto the bike I use as a winter bike -it works well enough. You will need to check if you have enough clearance to fit crud mudguards on. Here is a link to the Crud website:
