Boardman Team Pro my new baby

hi all

after about 2 weeks of help from you guys i decided to get a boardman team pro

i was going to buy it from halfords on monday but i found this on ebay sunday night :D
brand new with all paperwork for £500 :mrgreen:

    Nice ;)
    I'd change the white seat and grips though, mine got quite grotty on my team fs so changed them quite sharpish lol

    yer the white seat and grips were a poor choice by boardman. i plan on changing the grips once ive had some use out of them.

    what grips did you buy ???

    Aye definitely a poor choice of colour on mountain bikes :o
    I changed my saddle for a charge spoon and got 2 different sets of grips.
    A cheap set of green sunline half waffles http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=30937 and a set of lime ODI Ruffian Lock-On's http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=152
    I was going to get some Lizard Skins Logo Lock-On Bonus Pack - Peaty http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=24585 but they don't have them in green lol

    Another good place to look for grips is Superstar. Well priced, good grip and they last a good time too. Bonus - the custom builder and haribo :)

    And looking at your username, they have a zombie seat... ;)

    i had a look at the zombie seat, but to be honest its a bit OTT i would of liked it if i was about 17 years old but im now 37 and i like the pro looking stuff. but thats anyway :)

    Very awesome purchase and for that price too, if I remember right it was an unwanted gift? Bloody good work winter zombie, hope you enjoy it :)

    yer it was a unwanted gift, the guy was going to start biking with his girlfriend but he/she change their mind.

    it looked like he had cash to burn to be honest, he had a brand new mint 4x4. anyway i got a bargain :)
