Anyone EVER get thru to Canyon UK on the phone !!

I check the Canyon website every day to see when the specification and availability of the 2013 Roadlite Frameset Evo are going to be announced. There is a UK contact number shown on the website and it says that the business hours are 10am - 5pm.

Well ive tried more times than I dare to count to get thru to somebody and discuss details about the roadlite frameset.............................and nobody answers the phone. Every single time it goes to answerphone , despite there being times ive rang and got an engaged tone. When I ring back.................yep, it goes to answerphone. :roll:

Im finding it to be an exercise in frustration, the frameset ticks every box for me and im busting to get one ordered. I even spoke to Canyon at germany and told them the phone in the UK just isnt answered, but they couldnt go into specifics about the UK market.

Has anybody ever gotten a reply from Canyon UK on the phone , is there a different number than what the website shows as you would think a company who want your business would pick up the phone :shock:

    My experience of canyon is that ordering from the website, paying through the credit card portal and only ordering standard specs works well. Anything else, including interactions with UK, are an exercise in painful frustration that makes you question whether buying great products at a good price is actually worth while.........(it is, eventually)

    Have you tried turning your phone off and on again? The other thing that often works is beeping your horn and shaking your fist.

    Its just so frustrating, I want to discuss the frameset and somebody IS there as sometimes there is an engaged tone !!.....................but when you try to get thru it just goes to answerphone. if the customer service is that poor , the bikes must be blooming good as the frameset completely sold out for the 2012 model.

    Yes I have spoken with them, and they're not very good at phone contact. Actually, their email contact leaves a lot to desire too, come to think of it.

    You will also get an engaged tone if someone else is leaving a message on their answer phone. It doesn't mean that anyone is there.

    I was able to get through maybe once in about 10 tries, but the last time I did I wished I hadn't bothered :( Talking to Germany was very good, but Canyon UK was awful.
