hi,

iv just signed up to do the evans road sportive on the 2st oct in epping.
its my first sportive im doing.

iv done lon to cam a few times over the years just trying to get a few info

has anyone done this event in the past?

anyone doing it, or thinking of doing it.

likely going to do it. thinking the profile will be similar to london to cambridge, which i thought would be pancake flat (like london to southend) but had those endless, mind numbing rollers. only cycled in epping forest once, and some of the streets wind uphill -- but nothing seemed particularly difficult, just steady spinning.

people wise, should be much sparser -- at least when i did london to cambridge with bike events this year i spent most of the ride trying to pick my way through the crowd. did king of the downs earlier in the year, and cycled 95 percent alone despite a supposed sign up of 1000.
