Shimano Sora compatibility

Hi,

My old Trek 1.2 has Shimano Sora gears and the front mech needs replacing. Do I have to tick to Sora or can I buy 105 or Ultegra?

Any mechanical Shimano front mech will work, so long as it's the same type (double or triple) as before.

As said above, as long as it's the same size (double, triple) as before and it's Shimano, it'll work just fine.
