Ah, I think I ticked off Sandbanks, seafront near Boscombe Pier, Bournemouth seafront (Venereal Railway  ), Bournemouth Pavillion and not sure where abouts it was in the New Forest. Any more offers??

Superb skills, wish I could ride like that. Surely not all those stunts are genuine though (railway bridge, somersaults etc.)

I suspect this will be getting linked to in all those 'carbon frames are fragile' threads in beginners.

Indeed they are, Martyn in a legend. I've seen him do backflip on a road bike before (BRlive promo vid) and all sorts of mental shizzle on mountain and trials bikes. The railway bridge thing was probably one of the easiest things in the vid technically, would just take enormous balls. I have no doubt there's no camera trickery involved.

They need to get him into the next Bond film somehow like they did with the French free runner in Casino Royale. The thing with the bridge is that you never know when a gust of crosswind might come!

I tried the thing on the bridge and am now sat in A&E
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

yeah I tried the somersault thing over the bonnet of a taxi at a junction once - didn't land it quite as well as him though

I am defo going to practise the rear-wheel-on-the-skateboard trick, that would look epic as you pulled up at the coffee stop (what could go wrong?)

Indeed, I reckon that one took a while to do. That said, I saw him on the Animal Bike Tour in Newquay this year, and he rode down a beam about 4 inches wide 7-8 foot up in a howling crosswind straight off the sea. He must have some balance.

Danny MacAskill would blow your mind in the Inspired Bike vid around Edinburgh.

Martyn Ashton (I think) once again on Cav's 2012 Road Bike at the December Cobble Wobble. Nice to see the bike get at least a second good thrashing; this time on the cobbles. :D

Yep! Everytime someone asks "Would you ride a C59/S5/Dogma etc in the rain. It should be an automatic reply!

Martin is the father of UK trials riding, a proper cycling hall of fame (if such a thing.existed) legend! Him and Steve Peat did more to promote cycling in all its forms to the masses than BC ever did!

I'm oblivious to them but a lot of top BMX riders turn up at this event and seem to clean up.
The Cobbled hill is only 180 metres in length so more suited to thier quick starts. Dan Craven (Team IG Sigma Sport) said if it was over 100 laps of the hill then he'd be top dog.
