Is there a WD40 type of spray or something that you can spray onto you're bike to repel water and dirt?
I herd that WD40 is not good for a bike? Is there a Bike specific spray?
Wilier cento uno.

giving the frame/forks a few coats of a decent car wax helps the water/muck bead off and not stick as much

Furniture polish is a cheap alternative as long as you apply regularly.

Oh and for the record there is nothing wrong with WD40 as a cycle related repelant product. .....tick...tick..tick

wd40 is great to buff up the frame and help water shedding, also works great on stainless kitchen units, hobs and sinks, makes subsequent cleaning much easier. What WD40 is NOT good for is a lube for your chain, cassette, etc as it is a low viscosity volatile solvent and dries out leaving no protection. GT85 is similar but contains teflon so it helps lubricate when dry. GT85 also works great for cleaning and buffing up your frame.
  • I'll second GT85, I find that a liberal application over the frame once I have finished cleaning it leaves it looking gleaming and the crud tends to take longer to accumulate.
