Can you unlock a Strava segment

I have created a couple of segments on Strava and made them private, changed my mind and want to unlock them but don't know if you can, anyone help?

    On the right side of the segment page .. ACTIONS > MAKE PUBLIC
    All the above is just advice .. you can do whatever the f*ck you wana do!

    Though it may not always work. I had a segment I created as a private one a few months ago and wanted to make it public. All seemed to be ok but the segment stayed private. In the end I had to contact Strava support and get them to make it public...

    When I tried to do it the segment kept coming up with a fault. I just deleted the private one and made a public one, simple enough.
