Commuter frame with MTB bits

Hi
I fancy a new commuter and have my old (broken) MTB to use as a donor bike
Spec list is pretty simple
It needs to take full proper mudguards, not clip ons, have disc mounts, not weigh a ton and I need to be able to use some if not all of my MTB groupset and contact points plus wheels - although Im happy to consider buying some bits eg CX wheels if really necessary
Due to me having MTB shifters and disc brakes which Id like to carry over flat bars are preferable - which I obviously have too
So any suggestions?
All I can find myself is the Kinesis Tripser which is more commonly built with drops
What am I missing??
Cheers

Mine is built exactly as you describe and I'm using a (bought second hand) Carrera Gryphon frame.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Kinesis Decade Tripster - very flexible, takes discs, even takes 26inch or 700 wheels.
