Hi all, I have changed my mind totally on what i want. I'm looking for a bike For under £1000 Hardtail on the cycle 2 work scheme. I have come up with 2 bike that like.

Most of my riding will be at Llandegla trail centre on blue and red till i get better.

@ that price i think its great and i have test ride on it next week oh an i think it looks the mutts nuts.

I also seen this. spec seems very good and made for type of riding i'm going to be doing but i think its a little on the ugly side :)

Whats your opinions please and if any one has one or test rode any can you give me info please.

    Unless you want a super aggresive HT, the White, if you do, then the 456.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    I ride a Whyte 905 (same geometry) and it is great over Llandegla. I think a 120 travel hardtail is perfect there. You may get more bang for you buck elsewhere, but as a trail hardtail the Whyte is a very nice bike.

    Thanks for the info guys. aslong as it feels good whesay i think i go for a little blast on it i think i will get the whyte 901. i got to think it is a bit of eye candy as far as bikes go lol :-)

    Got to say it looks a great bike but i am restricted as to were i can get a bike from unfortunately but thanks anyway pal.

    The Whyte looks like a great bike. Have you checked with the dealer that they'll give it to you at the reduced price with your C2W voucher?

    Yea i phoned them up and because it the shop sale price that is what i get it for too :D:D:D:D

    Good stuff. I'd be sorely tempted to go for it in that case. Not all of the dealers will entertain it (as you probably know).
