Lights on the bike.....

Ugh, my dad made me put my flashing lights on my bike today and its just like.... ugh they make my already bad looking commuter look even uglier.
But what makes me mad is that these lights come out so people can put them on their bikes, and it hardly fits onto my handle bars, granted its on a cheaper bike and they are thinner bars, but I swear if I go over a bump they will fall forward....
No point to this post just a rant

Try sticking a bit of flat rubber around the bars and then mount the light over that. You may need to experiment with the thickness. Had a similar problem before with an old hack bike. This stopped the oh crap where's the road gone moments. Not fun when going down a fairly steep unlight road who's surface was not the best. If ou don't have any strips of rubber try wrapping insulating tape around instead.0

I'd rather have an ugly bike than look ugly under the wheels of a lorry.
Flashing lights have really helped.0 -

To be fair, they are made that bright for trail riding. A flashing light at 1000 lumens may cause epileptic fits.2007 Felt Q720 (the ratbike)

commuters just look nasty, mine looked ok until the downtube got spanged in and before I put the brackety thing for the baby seat on but even then only ok. But then the point of it is that it's to get me from A to B while builiing fitness I can use on the trails.
