Backlight on Garmin 200

It says there is a backlight but how do you turn it on? Can't see anything in the book about it.

    Press button, it comes on. Theres a settings menu where you can say how long it stays on for and yours may be off?

    I have switched mine to stay on for commutes now until it gets light again as I travel back in the dark, it's quite easy to find under settings
