Up early for the gp,just hoping its not a red ball bore fest, but the double drs is obviously working well by mr Newleys knowing smile on the grid

As the wife is on yet another spa w.end I've got to entertain the kids whilst studying. Then over to mothers at 4pm for my grandmothers birthday, which reminds me I had better get her a present

No excercise unless I get a chance for a quick blast onthe rollers

Well i was waiting for the BBC highlights show but the BBC decided it would be a great idea to put who won in huge font on their homepage so may not even bother.

    happy sunnyday morning tards,
I'm still broken so the bike is staying where it is for now. Just trying to work out if it's worth trying to get to work next week. Seriously cba but with another round of redundancies looming I should at least show some willing if I want to try to keep my job.
Onwards to a nice Sunday dinner.
I love horses, best of all the animals. I love horses, they're my friends.

  • Afternoon Losers!

I've been roped into some work this afternoon, so need to go out and practise.

    That's about it.
    Laters!
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

    first lap is worth watching
  • Morning homos.

Decided to go for a road ride this morning, and it was surprisingly enjoyable.

Tbf, I was doing it wrong, I was on a MTB (with road tyres), wearing baggies, and a hydration pack, and a helmet with a peak, and I had flats on with 5:10s.
Oh, and I was cheerful and waved at other riders irrespective of what sort of bike they were on.

Right, off to go shave my legs and sell all my bikes to replace them with a roadie.

    Laters plebs.
  • Afternoon Maggots,

Missed the F1, but I am pleased there were no McLaren drivers on the podium..
Today was a day of laze, 36ºC, so summer's just starting, bonus
Tonight I take my MTB home, it's a Mongoose HT, my son bought, I am removing the the terrible Tektro brakes and fitting some Avid Juicys which I sent over here last year some. Next will be to remove the Suntour forks and replace them with some RS units.
At least I'll be riding again this summer :¬) but sadly the MTB trails are pretty flat in this part of the world, no Cannock Chase or Fort Bill type terrain here sadly..

We used to go scrambling in the mine dumps on the East Rand - are they still there or has someone stolen them?

I do this but get strange looks from the locals

    Evening mongs!

Today I woke up at 5.30am and went for a 100km ride on the PX, had breakfast, walked the terrierist, put up some curtain rails, fixed the shed roof, took a car full of junk to the tip, had lunch, went for a 10km ride on the 456 with the girls, walked the terrierist again then cooked roast pork & all the trimmings. Now watching TV and drinking wine.

Work tomorrow but in the afternoon I need to teach the local Woodcraft people how to light fires. Unfortunately no accelerants are allowed.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
