Rockrider 5.3 or other?

Is the Rockrider 5.3 still the one to beat at £300 or are there others I should seriously consider?
THe Rockrider 6.3 is on offer at the moment at £290, but I have a feeling the full suspension model is probably worse than the 5.3? http://www.decathlon.co.uk/rockrider-63-id_8103207.html
Just looking for a decent bike, no more than £300 as it's my first bike in 15 years!

It is not a bad bike the 6.3, but the 5.3 is lighter and better equipped.0

I have the 6.3 and I really like it Heres a link to my build thread, my review so far and the upgrades I have made:
