Hi need to change from the standard decathlon tyres they are pants and lose grip so much, that the lads I cycle with take great please seeing me bail out on bends.
ATM I have 26 x 2.0 decathlon tyres and am looking to put mountain king 2 either 2.2 or 2.4 but I am unsure if the rims can take really wide tyres.
I bought the bike of ebay the guy had never even put the bike together but no user manual so I can't find out who the rims are by.
So is there a way you can measure the rims thus giving you an idea how wide you can go, I also understand that continental have a habit of making tyres a little on the slim side than advertised.
