Zombie Apocalypse

I have always had a fascination with this, which is odd as I have no other sci-fi or fantasy type interests, and am in all other respects a boring or at least nondescript individual in a professional job etc etc.
Anyway, have recently started reading more and more zombie books, and just wanted to recommend the Morningstar Strain series to anyone who has a similar interest.
I have just started on the"White Flag of the Dead" series.
Anyone else have any good recommendations (books, film, websites etc).
There's something about apocalyptic stories of any kind I love, but zombie ones are my favourite!

To make sure you are fully prepared, read the official advice from Bristol City Council:

and the (US) Centers for Disease Control:

Have you read Richard Matheson's 'I Am Legend'? Although the infected undead are called 'vampires' in the book (and have some of their traditional weaknesses), this is pretty much the definitive zombie apocalypse novel.0 -
World War Z and The Zombie Survival Book are both good reads. The former is out as a film next year.0

Get Arma 2 Combine Operations, get the DayZ mod and you're laughing.
I too love the zombie idea, don't know why. Also veyr much a follower of apocalyptic scenarios hence some games like Fall Out 3, appeal to me. Also try the Left 4 Dead series on Steam. There's loads of films about it, mostly bad, but some are pretty good.http://www.youtube.com/user/Eurobunneh - My Youtube channel.0 -

Day by day Armageddon is very good. Also there's a forum that was started by the author of Morningstar, themorningstarsaga.com which is good.0
