Well having just done my own version called L'erotica - a tour of local sex shops I came across this. Lovely little film about the italian 'sportive'

    Chances are, you park yer old Singer up and go get a coffee and know it will still be there when you get back.

    This looks like a fantastic experience, especially like the feed station with the wine and Italian goodies. Right i'm off to buy a vintage bike ....

    I happenend to be in Tuscany a few years back riding - the same weekend as the event ... it looks fantastic ......... thanks for the link .......... might have to start planning a memorable event for my 50th ! (Few years away yet - time to save and build another bike!)
