XTR jockey wheel bots.

I have just got a new XTR shadow plus and also bought some KCNC red bolts for the jockey wheels but the XTR has got a cir clip or 'e clip' as shimano call it. The XTR retaining bolt has a recess at the tip so the cliclip can snip on.

The XT mech currently on my bike has no cir clip and no recess, just a normal bolt. So my question is do you think its wise to stick with the XTR bolt with cir clip or would the KCNC bolt with( locking compound) be OK?

    Should just add that the cir clip will not fit over the KCNC bolt without stretching and deforming whereby its not really doing its job.

    On my m972, I've lost the circlip, it's just there as backup

    Yeah i appreciate that, might just add a drop of solder to the KCNC for added security.
