My son and stepson want a road bike.

What manufacturers/models do I want for the cheaper end of the scale, from ebay?

What bargain makes are there?

    you really need to give us some idea of budget for each bike.

    The Triban 3 from Decathalon has very good feedback.

    Somewhere around the £300 mark. On ebay now you can get a two year old £1000 Giant for £300. But I was thinking which names are less well known?
