Hi,
I'm currently running a pair of 26inch schwalbe kojaks(slicks), But i feel there not gonna be very practical/grippy come the wet/white stuff!!
i have been looking at the conti gatorskins but not sure which are best to get, I love schwalbe tyres as i also use nobby nics when off road. I dont want a big winter tread as i will use my nobbys in the snow,
just a general tyre with a little tread.

any help is very much appreciated

Gatorskins are a pain on 26ers as getting suitable tubes in a rush can be hard. I had to run a 1.5 tube for a while. It worked but not for long. Also they supposedly aren't great in the wet, but I haven't had any problems with grip or traction on anything but mud grass and gravel.
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.

I have Kojaks on my spare MTB wheels and they're fine in the wet, nothing is going to be any better in ice except studded tyres and you're going to use your knobblies in snow anyway.
