Hi

Will the below work together? thinking of changing the groupset on the mtb with this lot

The bike is a 6 speed with a hero freewheel cassette, not sure of the brand of the chainset or the mechs

Any help appreciated

Thanks

It appears that they would work together, but no idea if they will work with your frame.

That BB is a bit wide, are you sure you need that chainline, most Shimano crankset triples want a 122mm.

That tourney rear mech is for an inclined dropout frame with no mech hanger, what have you now?

Road type front mech - check the specs as it may be meant for a larger outer chainwheel like 48+T, you want an MTB front mech.

I am not sure how wide the BB should be, would need to get it measured, only on the list as its a square type like the chainset

The front mech would need to be a non road type i guess, but a Tourney 6 speed to match

The frame has a mech hanger so guessing it would be the wrong one?

It's not what you have now, its the chainline you have now and the axle width needed with that chainset for the same chainline, square taper come in sizes ranging from at least 103 to 127mm.....get the right one!

Front mech can be 5,6,7 or 8, all the same.

If the frame has a mech hanger, yup, wrong one!
