Ellsworth Moment vs Trek Remedy carbon

I'm currently have an older Ellsworth Moment which I don't have any issues with riding. It's a fantastic bike. But I've seen many images of cracked rockers and I'm doing more and more enduro / DH riding. I don't want to write-off what is a very descent frame by abusing it all the time. However, the Ellsworth is also fulfilling light weight duties. I'm basically considering if it's worth changing the frame over to a carbon Remedy to be both lighter and stronger. I'm not a carbon denyer so I'm sure it won't fail under normal riding, but do you think it's designed for more abuse than the Moment? And any idea how much weight might be saved? I can't find weights for either.
It will of course be another second hand purchase so after selling the Moment, it won't be an expensive change.
