Calling Wokingham Riders

Is anyone interested in joining a regular peleton leaving from central wokingham every Sunday morning? Seems like there's nothing set up already?

    There is one from Reading centre every sunday I think, not that I have been yet..

    Yeah, Reading CC, was just thinking of trying to get something starting closer to home.. I like the idea of meeting outside the Townhall on a Sunday morning

    I would be up for it although couldnt commit to every week cause of work but could do every other week.

    I'd be interested in this, although I don't think I'll be in a position to get involved this side of Christmas. If you do sort something out, and find a way to coordinate the group (Facebook group?), update on here and I'll keep an eye on it :)

    What sort of speeds do you guys do?

    Likely 18 -20mph average over 50 miles or so. PM me Facebook IDs and I'll set up a group on there.

    Think I might be working that Sunday, I dont find out my shifts for the next week until Thursdays but will keep you posted.

    By the way Ive not ridden in a group before as I have only been riding few months.

    I'm a way off that at the moment - another reason to hold off until the new year. Need some serious turbo work in the mean time (and hopefully some real riding)...

    I'd better wait til after Xmas then

    If anyone wuold like a slightly slower countryside ride on Sundays then i'd be interested

    I'm in Lower Earley - I'd be up for joining you guys for rides from Wokingham. I'm usually free on a Sunday, but can't make the 14th though.

    Meeting 9am this Sunday (21st) at the double roundabout at the end of NIGHTINGALE CRESCENT, opposite Bracknell Sports Centre. Message if you need directions. Meeting up with another group so should be fun.

    Interested - but going to be elsewhere this Sunday on a Sportive (weather permitting).

    How about setting up a Strava 'club' for this? I try to avoid facebook as much as possible. Strava would also be better suited I should think.
