    Those legs are scarily pale, did that wound cause the leg to die?

    Haha! No they were already dead :P

    My arms are tanned, but my legs have been pure white since I started cycling. They've never changed...

    Cyclng home 2 months. Had the commuter pedals, clips on one side, teeth on the other.
    Was pulling over to put on waterproof and had unclipped pedal
    Hit a skiddy patch and rammed the teeth side into my calf. 13 external stitches and 2 internal... No cycling for 7 weeks
    Doh!

    No pics I'm afraid, but I can tell you, just in case you hadn't already worked it out, that if the cord doesn't return into a recoil starter once it's started, it's not a good idea to try and poke your finger through the guard to push it in. I never found the fingernail, but it did grow back eventually.

    Finger left near the ejection port of a Sig Sauer 556 carbine when the working parts were released from under tension, catching the finger.
    To this day, I don't know why my finger was there :? :oops:

    I was cleaning out a drain at work that has a heavy metal grid door on it. Opened the grill climbed down the hole and was cleaning it out only to find the stone i stuck under it to stop it swinging down on me was not big enough. Spanish Medical services were A1 and in hosp and out within 40 mins.
