which way to wrap guys
inwards or outwards? :?

    Inward,
    if should be fitted so that if you are pulling on the bars the tape gets tighter not looser

    That's more about whether you go clockwise or anticlockwise - there's four ways to wrap a bar!

    Old bikes go outwards as you normally have an edge to start from. Looks neater as there's no need for insulation tape at the inner end but soft tape will push up at the edges before the hoods. On old vinyl tape it didn't really happen but, for example, the similar looking Fizik Microtex is softer so it's better wrapped from out to in anyway.
    Faster than a tent.......
