Would these tyres fit?

Hi
Currently have 26 x 1.95 width tyres on my bike, the rim is 1 inch wide, was wondering if these will fit the rim.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RALEIGH-26-x- ... 2285wt_907
Would be using it on the road to commute to work over the winter, so trying to get the least resistance as possible
Any comments or recommendations would be great

It'll fit, but I wouldn't buy one.0

Won't fit. You need something saying 26 by X.XX (in decimals not fractions).
MTB 26" rims need tyres that are are ISO 559, the tyre you linked is 599 I think.I don't do smileys.

Indeed. At least if he took my advice, he'd have been ok.
Look for something Schwalbe.0 -
any recommendations as to which would be a good tyre for road use?0

Schwalbe city jet in 26x1.50 is the best value for money, what is your budget?
What is your INTERNAL rim width?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
budget is not to spend toooo much, but also dont want flats every day etc
rim is 26inch by 1inch wide from the outside, guessing rim wall would be 2.5mm each side
these the ones?

I am amazed, the difference tyres can make is awesome
Just fitted the cityjets and feels like a completely different bike0 -
They are a lot easier than knobblies on the road. Bit rubbish in mud though.I don't do smileys.
