Mehning Losers!

There was a power cut on our estate this morning at 4am. I got woken because a house alarm went off. 20 minutes later, the power came back on and pretty much every single alarm in the estate went off! Scared the bejesus out of me!
Needless to say, I'm tired and unhappy. So work will not be good today. I do, however, have the next 2 days off, so there is a silver lining.

Laters!
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Amazing amount of rain last night in very short but very heavy showers. Almost everywhere is under water around here. Could be a mud-plugging weekend ahead or could just be a no bike weekend.

Today is off to a slow start but should pick up later on.

Tea and flapjacks will pass some time.

    Later……

Sat on a train to London for career progression/suicide - time will tell

Finally getting used to some cycling rollers a mate lent me, hard but a great quick workout - so will play on them later before the study starts again

Just been reminded that I agreed to take Dad to the hospital today.....I wish he would stop phoning and getting me to agree to things on a Friday night when I pissed.

Apart from that nothing much on the cards today. Did have a quick ride planned but don't think I'll bother in this rain. Even if the rain clears the ground will be muddy as hell.

Looks like it will be an evening on the XBOX instead. What an exciting life.

    Morning scuttlers

Dropped Mrs G off at school this morning so now I am chilling in coffee one until heading home later to write a report I now have to do on the nobcheese xc conductor from Monday. In an odd twist, guess which nobcheese was the conductor on my train home yesterday, yes that's right, didn't check my ticket, our even make eye contact or anything, I think that's win for G.

Suppose I better dusty Amy off too later and make her all oily, but at the same time avoid sister in law G's new fella who despite being an aviation engineer on a grand a week seems to never work, have no money and spend a lot of time in Chester or at ours despite working in Bristol and Living in , let's just say we now know him as cuckoo. This situation is even better ad manchild her ex throws huge strops if cuckoo comes round but now seems to be bringing a young lady round himself repeatedly (and oddly the other day a man that looked like Matt Lucas with ming the beard and wearing a silk kimono) or house become odd to a new level)

    Anyway enough babble

Another one here who just CBA.

Slept in 'till 6am this morning when the neighbours noisy shower woke me up. I call that a sleep in after my recent record.

Put the garden furniture in the shed this morning as the next time it'll be warm enough to use it again will be in about 8 months time. Now have to get supplies and will sneak in a trip to Costa/Nerro's while I'm in town to keep the cravings at bay.
