Another what bike should i get??!!

Hi all new on here and just after some advice. Ive been looking for a bike for sometime and popped into decathlon at the weekend and looked at the rockrider 8.0 in orange and black. Anyone have any advice on this bike? Also liked the 8.1 and also looked at the voodoo hoodoo and carrera vulcan in halfords but to be honest i really like the 8.0. I will be using a bike generally for light trails, canal tow paths etc. Which one of these bikes do you think will suite me the best and more importantly is the 8.0 any good??? Many thanks in advance...

    The 8.0 and 8.1 are excellent value for money and would suit your stated use very well, in fact they'll do a lot more if you give them a chance!
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
