Race Frame

Hi,
Going to start racing next season, and looking at a project over winter to build up a nice stiff, fairly light second hand race bike. Usual suspects, Ebay and classifieds
So far for a frame i like Cannondale Caad10's (which i have test ridden) and Caad9's and Specialized Tarmacs (which i haven't)
Anybody recommend any others that fit the bill as obviously i may not be able to get the above in budget or size due to buying second hand? Not fussed between carbon or alu and wouldn't want to go over £500 (preferably much less)
Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you're starting racing, make sure it fits you in a racing position, and gears, brakes and wheels work OK.
Any Alu/Carbon race bike from the last few years will be fine. Giant OCR0s and TCRs can be had cheap.
A secondhand Boardman would also fit the bill.0
