Scott speedster s50 a good upgrade?

Been into a local bike shop in penrith whilst on holiday and seen the above and like the look of it, anyone got one and recommend it? Im looking to upgrade from my carerra virtuosa the only thing putting me off is it uses the same 2300 shifter, is it worth paying more or looking second hand to get upgraded shifters on a bike or do the other parts and build make more of a diference?

I have owned one for a month now and love it. Really light and comfortable to ride. I dont have any issue with the shifters, they are really smooth. Tried all sorts first, but the Scott just felt right.

Hi thx for info, i am tempted it does look nice in the flesh but didnt want to be shallow hehe,and buy purely on looks!

i heve heard the speedsters have an excellent frame, and with that you can upgrade other components in good time as they wear and as your needs change.
