Hello, i just purchased my first mountain bike today (secondhand). A Voodoo Hoodoo 2012 18" with raidon x1 air forks and tektro auriga brake calipers (double piston).
My back brake works great but my front is terrible. When riding the bike it is smooth and no knocks/squeks but when applying the front brake it has a terrible loud squeak and terrible stopping power. I then took the front wheel off and noticed some clear grease on the disk so i cleaned the disk up and took a little of the brake dust off inside the brake pads because i cant take anything else off as i dont have any tools with me while im at university.
When the wheel was off i applied the brake and noticed one side of the pistons was extracting and retracting fine but the other side was only moving slightly.
Any help guys?
