ultrafire problem

Hi

Just received an ultrafire from dealextreme but I can't get it to do anything but the SOS emergency mode.

Am I missing a trick here or have they sent me a duffer?

If you've tried cycling through the modes, and the battery is good, sounds duff.

Also take a look at DIYs video on youtube... see at about 2:30 on tightening up the end cap.

Also, is the battery fully charged?

If it works at all, its unlikely that it is faulty

It's not really a half press, on the TH-T60 at least - you have to quickly turn off and on to change to the next mode. If you do it too slowly it stays in the mode you were in.
