Hope this pict shows
Hoping a few peeps can give me their opinion on whether they agree with me that the lower jockey wheel is out of alignment?
X9 rear mech
Or is this acceptable?

Cage looks slightly twisted (could be angle of photo or mech hanger), lower jockey doesn't looks quite square but that could just be worn bushes, pinch bolt tight?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

bent mech hanger."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Either your mech or the hanger is slightly bent. Wouldnt worry about it though. Not bent enough to matter.A Flock of Birds

Picture not perfect i know
As far as I can tell the Hanger is straight
Pinch bolt checked
It is a new bike only 2 rides in and gears giving a alot of grief thought rear mech/jockey wheels should be aligned.
Not matter of adjustment can rectify it.29er http://tinyurl.com/bs4flux

When i say as far as i can tell I should say visually the hanger looks perfectly straight I just can't verify it as I donot own a Derailleur Alignment Gauge tool.
like this http://www.parktool.com/product/derailleur-hanger-alignment-gauge-dag-2
So I'm happy the hanger isn't an issue but I'm still questioning the rear mech.
But that is why I'm seeking 2nd , 3rd and so on opinions here29er http://tinyurl.com/bs4flux

take it back to shop where you bought it is my advice we can all guess what it could be but unless its infront of you a picture will never reveal the fault there are many variables on a rear mech, can be sacrificial bracket, cage. The picture seems to show a twisted cage but who knowsanthem x with many upgrades0

Rear mechs and hangers can easily be damaged in transit to the shop and as they are in cardboard they wont show signs of an impact..That make sense?0
