Puncture resistant tape between tube and tyre?

After 4 punctures in 2 days, 3 of them on the second day in the rain, I've decided I need some sort of puncture resistant tape between the tyre and the tube. Does such a thing exist?
I'm running on Michelin Pro 3's in case that makes any difference.
Cheers.

  • There is something similar for mountain bikes, but it's not a great idea for road bikes.
You need to understand why you puncture so much. Regular tyre check, including removal of flint/glass is vital... riding far from the kerb helps too, as most broken glass is found there. Finally, you might want to consider a sturdier tyre

Get a conti 4 seasons tyre for example. There are other. Those pro 3's cut up quite easily.

The Pro3s will ride nicely because they are light, supple, soft etc.

Adding puncture resistance tape makes them heavier and less supple.. so there is no real advantage of running the Pro3s instead of different more puncture resistant tyres.
