Im really chuffed with myself yesterday I completed my 1st long ( for me) ride of 55.5 miles.
Should of been 60 but bit of a difference with the web site route and what it actually is.

Completed it in 3 hours 12 mins average of 17.3 mph.

Fantastic effort - that is an impressive average speed. :D
  • Good result must be the season I nailed a 70 by accident on saturday too! Only set out for an hour but felt good, had to beg a waterbottle refil at a random house but all good

Nice one. That's a good average speed for your first long ride! Were there any hills?

This is funny as the same happened to me on my first 50(it was 28 degrees, yes in the UK a few weeks back) They didn't seem to mind refilling which was nice.

I think it was the climbing through Surrey Hills and a lap of Boxhill that drained me so 2 bottles next time and more Jelly Babies
