Can someone explain what the various degree difference is in their cleats and what difference does it make to fitting/riding etc :?

  • Red – lots of float i.e. you can move your foot to a larger degree when clipped in.
    Grey – medium float.
    Black – locked in.

    The most common is grey.

If you’ve got a spare £30 give Spokes a call and book a Look Keo fitting. After winging it for a while on what I thought was the right position and type of cleat I went in and had the fit done at the start of the year. While I had the colour of cleat right the position was off. The change for me was very noticeable.

They fitted grey ones to my shoes, and good enough they are, just wondered what difference having a different colour would make/feel :?

They help with knee issues, the black cleats aggravated my knee but the grey give me just that degree of movement required.
